Shikamaru -> Ino

Shikamaru couldn’t help but laugh when ino crashed into him, the way she apologized and flinched when their cars collided was funny. before ino could drive off, shikamaru leaned over and gave her a kiss on the cheek. “it’s ok.” he said, speeding off from the crash. “I’m going to win anyway!” he teased as he passed her. he hugged a turn and passed a few rivers and now was in 4th place. only 3 more to go and ino was close behind, he had to be careful or he would be beaten by a girl…

Ino was all smiles and giggles as she turned the corner and fought with a few other racers to keep first place. It was a gripping battle, complete with curses and shouts aimed at the drivers of the cars and while they were focused on eachother both Ino and her rival failed to notice Shikamaru waving through the carts and easily passing them. Then, crash! the person she’d been focus on suddenly veered his cart and sent the girl spinning out of control and into a side of the track. “GRAAh!” it there had been a horn she would have honked it. A small amount of pain shot throughout her body and the blond rubbed at her neck before taking some time to back up and start off again, as before in last place.
